Playoffs

- The number of teams that make the playoffs will vary by league size.
- Regular season play identifies the teams that will make the playoffs as well as seeding for playoff schedule.  If regular season win/loss records result in a tie for a playoff spot or higher playoff seeding, the playoff tiebreaker rules are as follows:

- Head to head match ups. If still tied, then refer to:

- Teams play seven matches. The team who has the most wins out of the seven matches is the winner for the evening.
- A team earns a win if they are able to eliminate every member of the opposing team by hitting them with the dodgeball. You may not hit above the shoulders.
- Team captains act as speaking captains on behalf of their team.

Game Play
- Teams will begin on opposing sides of the court.
- A line of five balls will be placed in the center dividing the two teams.
- When the whistle blows, both teams will run towards the center trying to collect as many balls as they can. Each team must stay on their side of the court.
- Once a player has retrieved a ball, they may throw it at a player from the opposing team; give it to their own teammate to throw; or use the ball as a shield.
- If a player throws a ball at a member of the opposing team and hits the player, then the player who was hit is eliminated and steps off the court.
- If a player throws a ball at a member of the opposing team and the ball is caught, the player who threw the ball is eliminated and steps off the court.
